An Adventure at Olympic National Park

Wishes

Ethan Bottari, a 14-year-old from Ohio, had his Visual Bucket List wish granted in the summer of 2025. Ethan suffers from Bardet-Biedl syndrome, which causes vision loss as well as affects multiple body systems. We sent Ethan and his family on an outdoor adventure of a lifetime as they explored the breathtaking beauty of Olympic National Park in Washington. Their journey was packed with unforgettable experiences including hiking through lush, moss-covered forests, swimming beneath a cascading waterfall, and even the thrill of cliff jumping into crystal-clear waters. One of the highlights of their trip was a spectacular whale watching tour where they saw a pod of orcas and a humpback whale and witnessed the majesty of these incredible creatures in their natural habitat. Each evening, they returned to a cozy cabin nestled among the trees, where they could relax and reflect on the day’s adventures. This awe-inspiring experience in nature created lasting memories for Ethan and his family that they will carry with them forever.
